We are currently looking for a Part Time Spanish Language teacher.
Jakarta Montessori School, is an independent co-educational school. Situated in a green area of South Jakarta Indonesia. We have a long history of more than 35 years of offering quality Montessori education to the children from 18 months to 18 years.
Our mission is to strive to provide a peaceful, respectful, safe, and nurturing Montessori learning community for children and adolescents, where they have freedom to explore and follow their own interests, developing their individual potentials and responsibilities towards the Earth, thus becoming global citizens and lifelong learners.
We currently cater for students from Toddlers to Y10 following a Montessori Curriculum and methodology and have specific subjects from the Indonesian National Curriculum that we incorporate into our programme. We are also a Candidate School for the IB and will open our Y11 & Y12 in August 2023. We currently have 19 students in Y7 to Y10.
Applicants will be suitably qualified with a teaching degree, or have a subject degree and a Post Graduate Teaching Certificate. Montessori education will also be advantageous. A creative, flexible approach to teaching, willingness to extend yourself outside your comfort zone and specific subject areas, and experience of senior secondary is essential with subject area specialisation. Training in IB Spanish Ab Initio at Diploma level is an advantage. However, we would send our ideal candidate on IB training
