Psychogeometry
Psychogeometry demonstrates the originality and brilliance of Maria Montessori's own mathematical talents, combined with her deep understanding of the psychological workings of the child's mind. This enabled her to offer an approach to mathematics that is irresistible and fascinating. Psychogeometry also describes the surprising solutions and work that spontaneously pours forth from children once they have the necessary means. This edition is based on Montessori's historical Italian manuscript and the 1934 Spanish edition, annotated by Professor Benedetto Scoppola. The original illustrations were recreated under the guidance of Professor Scoppola and Dr Kay Baker, who together also reviewed the English translation.
